Meet Linda
I come from an original Kenai Peninsula homestead family. I met my husband David here and together we raised our children and grandchildren here on the Kenai. We built several successful businesses over the last several decades and today we own and operate Hutchings Auto Group. During this time we have employed nearly 2200 Kenai Peninsula residents.
I bring over 40 years of state and local government experience to the office of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor. I will approach the office of Mayor with professionalism, principled leadership, responsible spending and a commitment to pursue the best service delivery options for all residents of the Kenai Peninsula.

As a former member of the Central Peninsula Hospital Board and the Kenai Peninsula Borough Healthcare Task Force, Linda has worked diligently to grow our healthcare infrastructure.

Linda believes in educational excellence for every student and has dedicated her time and resources to numerous childcare and youth activity boards.

Linda served on the Kenai Peninsula Borough Healthcare Task Force committee. She fought for accessible healthcare and medical jobs in our community.
Linda was awarded the "2019 Commitment to Youth" honor by the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce to acknowlege her lifetime service to the youth of our community. Linda is a charter board member of the Kenai Peninsula Community Care Center and a strong education advocate.
Linda serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Hutchings Auto Group. A business she began with her husband over 40 years ago. Her business and community service has provided significant opportunities for Kenai Peninsula communities to grow and thrive.
